Impeller our goal #TenBillionHappyby2050
Current educational systems are subject to tensions of various kinds: the persistent learning crisis, the high rate of early school leaving, growing inequalities in learning, among others.
Why schools of happiness?
According to UNESCO data:
  1. 1 in 3 pupils is bullied every month.
  2. More than half of the world's children and adolescents are not learning.
  3. 244 million children and young people worldwide are out of school.
Schools of happiness is...
A global initiative of the World Happiness Foundation that aims to promote well-being and happiness in educational centers around the world, bringing and adapting to the educational world the United Nations resolutions regarding happiness and well-being, specifically resolutions 65/309. and 66/208. The approach of the Schools of Happiness Initiative (IEdF) is holistic and transversal, covering its influence on students, teachers, administrative staff, parents, from Primary to University education.
“The aim is that through the synergy of these elements, it is possible to lay
the foundations for an education that nurtures not only the minds, but also
the hearts and souls of those who participate in it."
The Teacher as the axis of Happiness
The Happiness Schools Initiative recognises the importance of teachers as the
backbone of Happiness. The Happiness Schools Initiative works in its early stages
with teachers, focusing on their empowerment through three basic principles:
Teacher Wellbeing for a Positive and
Stimulating Classroom Environment
Promoting Skills and Training to Add Value in
the Classroom
Emotionally Aware and Purposefully
Connected Students
